The colours of the iron gall inks intensifies when it oxidises on the air; Hence, writings with those inks are considered permanent, the historical term being “archivally safe”.

eine spannende Farbe
die nach dem Schreiben durch die Oxidation dunkler wird. Erscheint für mich zwischen Grauviolett und Violettgrau. Ich habe beschlossen, dass eher zu Grau zu zählen.
